I don’t usually reblog stuff, but this is SO informative and so important, I thought I’d do so. Learn from the masters. Always the best approach.

I think the implicit “avoid down shots” in the last page is something that only applies to comic-strip comics, where there’s next to no room. When you’ve got a full page you can afford to have a larger panel to show the environment.

Other than that, though, this is a great distillation of the compositional problems specific to comics panels!
